1. The last thing I ate was whole natural almonds and they were delicious!

2. Corn on the cob for dinner, is something I recently bought.

3. When it rains, it washes all the bird droppings off of my car!

4. Hubby was the first person I talked to today.

5. Hugs are love with arms.

6. My splints give my wrists extra comfort while I sleep.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to dinner, tomorrow my plans include working and Sunday, I want to do something different, like sleep in!

Around the house...it's quiet with MIL away on a trip

More proof that I am INSANE

Just look at how much little Redford enjoyed his birthday party! A lovely cake and a new purr pad! Yeah, I know I'm crazy, but not evey cat reaches this age. He loved all the attention, and was so excited at having J-Bob and Grandma here for the celebration!

Random Crap

Two days off in one week ...yeeehaw! Of course I'll be working on the 4th, double time and a half beats any party or cookout! It's probably going to rain anyway. July 2nd and MIL has the furnace running. Unfrickinbelievable. Where are the sunny, HOT days of summer?

Speaking of MIL, she is taking a road trip to North Carolina with SIL, and will be gone for about one week. Now would be the perfect time to rent a couple dumpsters and do away with some of the piles of things she's been hoarding. Probably won't happen, but I can dream.

In other news, tonight we will be celebrating Redford's birthday! Tacos for the humans, chicken breast for the fur-babies, cake and ice cream for all! Redford was adopted from a shelter the summer J-Bob was 3, making him about 17. Old for a cat, and he's showing his age lately. He is excited today cause he knows there will be gifts involving catnip later.

I've been wearing my braces on my wrists faithfully, using the "invisible" ones while I work. Has it been 30 days yet? Sheesh, I don't even care about the carpal tunnel surgery, I just want this dang cyst out! It's getting bigger every day and really making my life miserable!

Today:

* eventually get my ass showered and dressed

* head to work to pick up my paycheck and grocery shop

* get a haircut!!!

* RELAX with the babies, maybe watch some CSI or ANTM reruns.
